The sight of four adorable puppies lying on the ground captured the attention of the global media when the news broke in late April. The distressing scene left animal activists both shaken and distraught, but it also inspired them to continue their fight against those who cause harm to innocent animals. Despite the challenges, the number of good-hearted people will always outweigh those who do wrong.

It’s heartbreaking to think that someone could have intentionally left four innocent puppies to suffer a slow and painful death, covering them with tar under the scorching sun. Fortunately, the Sky Foundation for Animal Rights came to their rescue before things could worsen. It simply demonstrates that even animals have their own guardian angels looking out for them.

When discovered, the puppies were in critical condition due to their exposure to the tar. This sticky and pungent substance has a dark tone and can easily adhere to an animal’s skin, making it extremely painful to remove without proper care. Fortunately, all the puppies received treatment from a veterinarian based in Isai, located in the northeastern region of Romania. Despite this, one of the puppies faced a more challenging situation as the tar had covered its left eye, nose, and mouth. The veterinarian pointed out that an animal surveillance institution would be very beneficial in such situations.
