Jungkook warns sasaeng fans to stop sending food to his home

Jungkook has recently been receiving food deliveries from sasaeng fans at his house, but he has issued a warning to sasaeng fans to stop this behavior. It is not uncommon for fans to send gifts or messages to their idols, but sending food to their private residences can be intrusive and potentially dangerous. Not only can it create an uncomfortable situation for the artist, but it can also pose a security risk to their personal lives.

On May 4 KST, Jungkook took to Weverse to update fans on the invasion of privacy that’s been happening to him lately. He wrote, “Please don’t deliver food to my house. I’m not going to eat it. I’m grateful for the thought, but I eat well on my own. Take care of your own meals. I beg of you. If you send it one more time, I’ll check the receipt order number and take action. So stop it.”In response, ARMY have spoken up to defend the BTS member and criticize the sasaeng fans sending food to his place.

They wrote, “He’s not okay with it just because he said it with a smile,” “I need you all to leave Jungkook alone,” “The fact that Jungkook has to ask every time to not cross his boundaries,” and more.

He went on to say that he would take action against those who continued to send food to his house, stating, “If I see any actions that cross the line, I will take strong legal action without any leniency.

Jungkook’s message comes amid concerns about the privacy and safety of K-pop idols, who have been known to face invasive and sometimes dangerous behavior from some fans. While the vast majority of fans are respectful and supportive, incidents of stalking, harassment, and invasion of privacy have raised concerns in the industry.

So, What is sasaeng fans?

Sasaeng fan” is a term used to describe obsessive fans, particularly in the context of K-pop music. These fans are known for engaging in extreme and often invasive behavior, such as stalking, trespassing, and harassment, in order to get close to their favorite idols.

The term “sasaeng” comes from the Korean word for “private life,” and it refers to the sasaeng fans’ desire to know everything about their idols’ personal lives, even if it means invading their privacy. Some sasaeng fans have been known to follow their idols to their homes, hotels, and even bathrooms, and to steal personal items like clothing and hair.

Sasaeng fans are generally not well-regarded within the K-pop community or by other fans, as their behavior can be dangerous and harmful to the idols they claim to love. Many idols have spoken out against sasaeng fans and the harm they cause, and some have even had to take legal action against them to protect their privacy and safety.
