Believe it or not, the chance of spawning sextuplets is not just one in a million, but one in 4.7 billion. For this family, the rare pregnancy of six children has made them the center of attention. Now they’re back in the limelight, coincidentally six
years later.
after facing fertility issues, Rozonno and Mia McGhee welcomed sextuplets in 2010. The family became known for a sweet photo featuring the NeᴡʙᴏʀɴꜱBᴀʙɪeꜱ sprawled across their father’s back in front of their mother. Six years later, they recreated the photo with the same photography studio, and obviously a lot has changed.
Siblings Elijah, Issac, Josiah, Madison, Olivia and Rozonno Jr., who turned 6 this week, gathered with their mom and dad for the photo, taken by Brian and Janine ᴋɪʟʟian of Peters Photography, same photographer who took the original image.
Brian ᴋɪʟʟian said of the first time he photographed McGhees: “We knew one was special. I think people still remember seeing it six years ago. There are six small children sleeping on top of their father – it’s a Uɴɪqᴜe portrait.”
The sextuplets –Olivia, Madison, Rozonno Jr., Josiah, Elijah and Isaac – and their parents will also star in a new UP show “Growing Up McGhee”. It’s about how parents Rozonno and Mia balance their daily lives with tending to small apartments while dealing with the needs of their family’s carpet and upholstery business. However, the show is not the first time the family has appeared on the small screen. They also have a reality show on the Oprah Winfrey Network, “Six Little McGhees,” which ended in 2014.
